About this Speaker

Tamsin Smith is a published poet, novelist, essayist, and painter.


Her debut verse collection Word Cave was published by Risk Press in January 2018. FMSBW released Between First & Second Sleep in September 2018, and Displacement Geology in December 2020. Her first work of fiction, XISLE, a novel is now also available from FMSBW.

Her paintings have shown in group exhibitions at Modern Eden Gallery, The Luggage Store Gallery, Avenue 12 Gallery, Analog Gallery, Guerrero Gallery, Incline Gallery, King Gallery, and Adobe Books Backroom Gallery, which also exhibited her solo show “Painting as a Second Language” and an exhibition of her collaborations with Emilio Villalba, titled “The Painter’s Alphabet”.
